Information, not advice

The site helps you compare appliances using information published by manufacturers and the Australian Government. It is general information, not installation, electrical, gas or plumbing advice. A result that meets recorded requirements is not a guarantee that an appliance will fit, can be delivered or will suit your needs.

Check before you buy

Before buying, check the manufacturer’s current installation guide for the exact model code, your own measurements, the delivery route and the retailer’s terms. Manufacturers can change products and documents without notice, and source documents can contain errors. Installation that involves water, gas or fixed wiring must be done by a qualified person.

Accuracy

We take care to transcribe figures accurately and show where each one came from, but we can’t guarantee the information is complete, current or error-free. Running-cost figures are estimates based on rated energy use and the rate you enter; actual costs will differ.
